Wayne Wilson is an American actor, singer, and songwriter from Baltimore, MD. Wayne realized his passion for performing arts and storytelling at a young age after doing his first high school musical in the 9th grade. Wayne developed his love for the arts throughout high school and into college. While studying Arabic linguistics during his time of service in the United States Air Force, he continued performing locally in California. After his military service, he auditioned for American Idol, and among 112,000 hopefuls, he found himself amongst 60-remaining semifinalists.

Wayne is finishing his BFA in performing arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga, wherein he is a member of the Executive Singing Ensemble (Honeybees). Since attending the school, he has booked a starring role in CW’s Legacies. He is also a part of SCAD’s 2021 showcase. Wayne is drawn to roles and stories with symbolic and historic black cultural significance and comedies. In her spare time, he enjoys songwriting and curating musical projects. His favorite actors are Leslie Odom Jr., Adam Driver, John Boyega, and Courtney Vance.
